Summer 2024 strawbale timber frame work exchange

Hi there,

I’m a 37 year old middle school teacher building my timber frame straw bale house in beautiful Southern Vermont. I’m looking for help with timber framing this coming July and August 2024.

The basic arrangement: you camp/park your RV, van, or tiny house for free in a beautiful woodsy spot on my land for July and August (water, power, and bathroom facilities included). Also, I teach you what I know about timber framing and natural building (intermediate level). In exchange, you help me cut 75 timbers and raise the frame in August. Must be LGBTQIA+ and cat friendly, self motivated, curious, independent, and dependable.
